A Pennsylvania man attempted to resuscitate "a road-killed opossum," state police say.

But this was one possum who wasn't playing possum -- the ugly creature remained dead.

Really?

I generally appreciate or at least tolerate most wildlife. Possums are squarely in my "negative" list, beside mosquitos and fire ants. Were I to roadkill one, I wouldn't even stop. I have doubts that any amount of alcohol would change my opinion.
