Wayne Gerdes - CleanMPG - Feb. 8, 2010
Toyota’s latest commercial can be seen at the following: Toyota Committment
Production resumed today as planned on all production lines at Canadian Toyota manufacturing facilities. Last Thursday, February 4, vehicle deliveries of the eight Toyota models identified in the January 21 recall notice resumed at Toyota Dealerships across the country. The affected accelerator pedals on new vehicles at Toyota dealerships have been repaired and the vehicles are now being delivered to customers.
Toyota vehicles affected by the recall are: - Certain 2009-2010 RAV4
- 2009-2010 Corolla
- 2009-2010 Matrix
- 2005-2010 Avalon
- 2007-2010 Camry
- 2010 Highlander
- 2007-2010 Tundra
- 2008-2010 Sequoia
No Lexus Division or Scion vehicles are affected by these actions. Also not affected are Toyota Prius, Tacoma, Sienna, Venza, Solara, Yaris, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser, Highlander hybrids and certain Camry models, including Camry hybrids.
Toyota Canada wishes to extend its sincere thanks to our customers for their loyalty and confidence. Our goal is to continue to earn that trust each and every day.
