Most Americans are fearful about the oil supply according to a CNN/USA Today/ Gallup Poll. Goes into who the public blames....

Ah, but the Senate is about to vote on a budget bill that has ANWR drilling included. If it passes the House and Senate and is signed by the president, then that will solve all our problems and we can go back to our Tahoes and Expeditions and not worry about oil anymore

Someone at GH suggested that hybrid drivers should get an insurance discount because they drive better than the general public, and "the angry Highlander driver" attacked the hypermilers. Did not happen this time, but in the past he has taken great offense to my remarks that a lot of jumbo SUV/power truck drivers speed well over the limit. The way he denies it in his rants strongly hints he is one of them and probably figures ANWR and hybird jumbo SUV's will make GWB the environmental President.
