In Oklahoma, the average fine for vehicular manslaughter is $500-1000, 2-3yrs jail time, 1-2yrs probation. Since he has had prior substance problems and multiple counts, it's will be harsher, although it looks like it will be less than ten years based on this info.

Wonder what he could be facing with vehicular manslaughter, possession of drugs, DUI, and other charges?
I'm not too optimistic for the victims in court when I read this: Killing 2 Cyclists while on pot & booze: 2yrs prison - 10yrs probation

Kinda makes me wish for a good lynching in his family's yard... with all the neighbors attending. BTW - what ever happened with tar-and-feathers for undesirables?

The family of the victims should consider a super-duty wrongful death lawsuit. The specter of him getting 80% of his future earnings attached for the rest of his life just might wipe that smirk off his face.

Perhaps someone should look into any "enablers" as well. I wonder if a 20 year old was able to finance his own car, or whether some doting parent gave in to his perceived need (or just as bad, loaned the kid one of the parent's vehicles). In either of THESE cases, then the parents SHOULD have some culpability, too --- they handed a loaded weapon to someone who had SHOWN that he couldn't/shouldn't have access to the keys to that weapon.
Tis the season to be jolly ...

This has never been a nation of personal responsibility for motor vehicle operators...gotta go to Europe for that.

BTW, Bubba that he shares his cell with will take care of his smirk... the only drugs he'll be asking for are hormones to keep Bubba happy.
