Try kicking IE 8 into "Compatibility View" - I bet it'll show up then.

Re: New in HCH
Dear Nevyn,
I just try the compatibility view and there is no change, I think I am missing some add on most probably will be updated next time with the automatic updates, the problem is during download or I do not have the proper converter, I am using Winrar and Winzip.
Thank you for the suggestion.
Warm regards,
Pawkar

Re: New in HCH
In regard to oil change intervals, the mileage (or kilometerage depending on your system of measure) between changes is not fixed. The computer will tell you when to change oil. You start getting a warning that an oil change is imminent when 15% of the oil life is remaining. As oil life approaches 0, the warnings on the display change.
My oil life display is currently at 15%. I intend to let it reach 5% before I change the oil.
The computer takes speeds, temperature and other factors into consideration when calculating the oil life.

Re: New in HCH
I just tested the file 2 minutes ago and I was able to open the PDF manual without any problems.

Re: New in HCH
Dear Overholt,
Thank you so much for the information on the oil reader, I went to check the car and it says 100%, the only problem is that this 0W 20 oil is not available in the market here you need to order it. I am thinking that they fill in the car 5W 30, how you can find the type of oil that has the car and how bad is for the car a different oil weight. Please share your thoughts.
Warm regards,
Pawkar

Re: New in HCH
Hi pawkar;
It is absolutely imperative that your dealer use the 0W20 rated oil and accept no substitutes. The recommendation that the dealer use 5W20 only applies only in the odd event that the 0W20 is not available, but even if the oil is not available a good dealer will call you back and replace it immediately after they receive a new shipment of 0W20 oil.
This is because driving the car with 5W20 in it is almost as bad as dropping a boat anchor behind the car and it will not only kill your mileage but also under-perform (in terms of engine protection) when compared to the recommended 0W20 grade.
Make sure you instruct the shop to stock up on 0W20 before the next scheduled oil change. It is worth it.
Cheers;
MSantos

Re: New in HCH
Using IE8, I turned on compatibility view and still see no download link. MSantos, is the pdf manual you have "unlinked", ie: the whole thing in one file? I downloaded that version a few years back, and it is great, but recently could only find "linked", which seems impossible to download or use off-line.
BTW, whenever I've downloaded your posted pdf's, say for service bulletins, I also have problems, they don't open, are corrupt, or something. I would guess it's something to do with this site, IE, etc.
Pawkar, you can order replacement Owners Manuals in hardcopy as well. Maybe just through a dealership, or via mail/internet. There may be some compatibility issues, there is some variation between Canadian/USA/International models I think. Anyway, here's where I purchased a Service Manual, and they also offer the Owners Manual:
http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2...601&itemtype=N
Addendum: Ok, now did manage to find the Owners Manual download link, but per usual there was a warning after download about corrupted link.
FWIW, my unlinked PDF Owners Manual is 6473KB. I'm a little perplexed as to why Honda does not make the unlinked version readily available. Maybe liability issues?
