2010 Lexus HS 250h - $39,900 Canadian to start.
The most technologically sophisticated passenger car in the world in a package that delivers the what Canadian drivers demand. The all-new Lexus hybrid - the HS 250h - the world’s only dedicated luxury hybrid vehicle.
This week, Lexus of Canada chose Winnipeg as the city to launch the all-new, 2010 Lexus HS 250h to the Canadian automotive media. The targeted 'new luxury' consumer for the HS 250h is affluent, inspirational and mainstream, and lives in places like Winnipeg.
“Canadians understand that as a society, we need to redefine transportation to make it more sustainable. That means we need to offer solutions that are friendlier to drivers and passengers… friendlier to pedestrians and other vehicles… and friendlier to our communities and the planet,” said Stephen Beatty, Managing Director at Toyota Canada. “With the new HS 250h, we have pushed the envelope of what’s possible on four wheels, and are offering Canadians a new, easy-to-embrace way to join the sustainable transportation revolution.”
While Winnipeg has always been rich in history and culture - home to world-class dance companies, music and festivals, for example - today it is also an urban destination ushering in a new era of environmental stewardship. In fact, the International Institute for Sustainable Development and Manitoba Hydro both call Winnipeg Home.
Manitoba Hydro's new head office here in downtown Winnipeg is vying for LEED platinum level certification with its energy efficient and environmentally sustainable features.
