A Lamborghini hybrid? That's what Lambo says it's pursuing in a drive to lower emissions by more than third in the next six years.
It's a big step. When it comes to these exotic racing machines, performance has always been uncompromised by, well, basically anything. Now Lambo says it will decrease emissions by 35% by the year 2015. It says it has already made a big step forward with a its Gallardo LP 560-4, which was introduced last year and saw an 18% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. CO2 gets the most blame for global warming.

Supercars are endangered unless they find a way to burn a lot less gas. Most are European and must meet strict CO2 emissions.

Seems silly that a car that is selling in the few thousands per year needs to meet any standard, what does it really matter?
Oh yeah, no safe threshold level of excess has been found in lab animals, this can't allowed.
