New TSB issued for folks with an MIL light (P0128)

This TSB applies to all HCH-II (2006-2008)

Just another one of our community service notices, this time directed at folks who may be getting a MIL warning light once in a while. This light often indicates a cooling system issue represented by DTC P0128.

However, this does not mean that there is something wrong with the cooling system at all... and is instead related to possible software issues which misinterpret the sensor readings as well as corroded or loose terminals in the ECT sensor or the 2P connector.

Anyhow, if you are affected by this issue please let your dealer know about this TSB. The incidence of such issues is very, very low but it is somewhat frustrating to troubleshoot.
