Straight Gas

So in the mileage logs it asks you what kind of gas you use. I know that many stations now put 10% ethanol in the gas and I think that burns faster (correct me if I'm wrong). But anyway, where does one find just straight gas? Is there anyway I can search that?

Most areas have laws requiring the pump to show if there IS ethanol. http://www.fuel-testers.com/state_gu...anol_laws.html

Some areas have only E10, so you just have to use that.

When they started using 10% ethanol, my gas mileage dropped 10%. Most all the stations in Florida are required to pump the ethanol blend as per instructions of the govenor. I have seen only one station in my area that says pure gas, but the cost is 15% higher than anyone else. It is sort of you can't win. Pay more for 100% gas get better mileage, but cost per mile increases.
