Pardon my language, but right now I could punch the support at Verizon DSL.
My internet connection went out three hours ago. Tried an hour later with no luck, then dialed up support. The internet light lit on my DSL, but something wierd happens. I get internet connection ONLY when dialed up to their support line - hang up and lose internet connection.

Voice mail is not only useless but annoying - their contact page on the internet does a 404

. Obviously my DSL works - so why do I have to dial up support and pretend I have dialup to get online? Granted, they may be having network problems, but they are not even putting a general message on the web pages and voice mails for that.
