For the last 30 years, most states allow most traffic tickets to be dismissed if the accused agrees to take 6-8 hours of Defensive Driving Class. It can be taken on the net these days. In the 80's Comedy Defensive Driving was started by comedians making the teaching of good driving entertaining. We met in the basement with a pool room and bar.
Another flick was ironic. It had about 20 avoidable driving situations with many of the leading actors of the 90's. The irony was the intro was by Pres Clinton, maybe about the time of
Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles. It was sponsored by
GM.

I told the class about GM & Chrysler not bothering with
Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles and a few got hissed considering we are spending billions because they were not interested in producing their own version of the Fusion Hybrid. All the cars getting smashed in the movie were GM, so I played into the comic and suggested they need to make more films like this to clear their inventory.
