Next Milwaukee Hybrid Group Meet - Sept. 24, 2006 - in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Hi All:

___Bradlee Fons sent notice that the next Milwaukee Hybrid Group meet will be held at the Culvers in West Allis, Wisconsin on Sunday - Sept. 24, 2006. The meet will start at or around 10:30 AM and hopefully wrap up by 01:00 PM.

___If you are a new hybrid owner, considering a hybrid, or just want to meet up with a great group of people, this meet is yet another excellent opportunity to do so. Not only to learn what is happening with hybrids of yesterday, today, and tomorrow in the round table group discussions but also to meet in person those you may have seen posting around the net on a daily basis. Having the ability to take in a FE clinic at the end of the day is always a great experience for beginners and experts alike.

___If you would like to learn from some of the most knowledgeable hybrid enthusiasts around, the Milwaukee Hybrid Group meet is the place to be and has always been a great experience.

___Good Luck

___Wayne

I'll plan to be there as long as this Gathering is still a "go." The last time I was up that way was at Wisconsin Dells with my last car owner's group. I'm probably going to set the record for the longest distance driven to the gathering too (550 miles) so I'll be able to make the drive on one tank of gas even. Sweet. Let's see some other responses so I know this Gathering is going to happen. I'm 12 hours away so I'd like to see events on Sat evening also instead of cramming things into 3 hours on Sunday but I'm game for most anything. Looking forward to meeting some other Hybrid owners.

Re: Next Milwaukee Hybrid Group Meet - Sept. 24, 2006 - in West Allis, Wisconsin.

Hello MHG members and friends,

Well, here we go with our second informal MHG meet of the year. As the days get shorter and the weather cooler we all have to start admitting that this summer is coming to an end. I hope we all were workn’ it to build up our lifetime mpg since they’ll soon start declining. But until then, we should have a great time seeing each other again and exchanging stories from this summer.

For our newest members and newer owners this will be a great chance to learn about your vehicle and pick up tips from our more experienced drivers. In addition, individual driver training will be available. This gathering is very informal and will allow more personal interaction throughout the meet. Depending on the weather, we’ll be staying outdoors most of the time so dress appropriately and bring lawn chairs if you like.

Milwaukee Hybrid Group Meeting Agenda No. 7

Culvers Frozen Custard (see link below)
1672 South 108th Street

10:30 -11:00 Outdoor gathering and informal discussion
11:00 -11:10 Introductions and sharing
11:10 -12:10 Topics to be discussed include:

- Cold Weather Preparations
- Wisconsin Legislative Initiative
- Hybrid Camry Presentation by David Curro of Jack Safro Toyota
- Upcoming Events: Insight Marathon, Hybrids Now, AFV Odyssey Day
12:15 - 12:25 Wrap-up and Q/A
12:25 - Individual Driver Training

The MHG is here to support and encourage hybrid ownership. Each of our members is at different stages of experience and we just want our newer members not to be intimidated by low mpg. Each of us has been where you are, and with the encouragement and expertise of each other, you will soon be achieving results that you never thought possible. All you need is a desire to improve, the desire to attend our meets and the desire to share your new found successes with others.

As usual, we encourage you to bring your spouse or a friend. Also tell anyone else who may be interested in learning about hybrids to attend.

Justin and I look forward to meeting you at Culvers.
