Yes, this is a parody on the weight loss ads that I simply loath....won't click them because I'm afraid to get more spam in my email, in spite of the overly simplistic tease of "OBEY". Is that hypnotizing yourself to suck your gut in 24/7? Articles out confirm what I did (and need to do again, to lose it again ) - reduce calories and exercise is the only way to lose weight.

This reminds me of the Water-to-Gas ads last summer - I just smell a gimmick. But think about it: we could honestly make hypermiling ads like that. Thing is, we have no secret - it's just common sense for most part and changing your driving lifestyle.

We could do it -- the secret is to "OBEY" the posted limit.

Ah but Chuck, what you speak of is so rare that it really is a secret to us that are better informed.

Hey guys... lose weight when you're unemployed! I did that back in 2002 and went from 205ls to as low as 139lbs, after 5030 miles of road biking!

Now, as far as I've seen, there is an improvement in the Water-to-Gas approach.

I almost like people coming to hypermiling when they feel their ready. Its our own secret.
