Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
I really like the mileage log section of the site.
One thing I'd like to see on the main list is the % of EPA mileage for each vehicle. I'd like to be able to have the list sorted based on this instead of on the raw mileage.
I'm more interested in seeing who's getting the best mileage improvement out of the vehicles they're driving than I am in seeing a list of who's driving Hondas.

Re: Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
It is in the process of being implemented but will take a while as the value isn't currently stored in the database.
I'm glad you find it useful!

Re: Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
Very nice, Sean. All the information is there, although it's still sorted by mileage, and not by % of EPA

Re: Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
You can click the headings in the title bar to sort via whichever column suits your fancy. The name link will sort one direction and the image link just to its right will sort the other direction.
Enjoy!

Re: Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
I'm waaaaay too lazy to attempt to prove it, but maybe taking a look at the numbers might "prove it".
I'm reasonably certain that Honda buyers/drivers on average are more committed to performance-all types of performance- than Toyota drivers. So, HCH 2 drivers should get a higher percentage of EPA than Prius drivers. EPA combined is 42 vs 46 HCH 2 vs Prius. Honda drivers on the other site didn't like to hear my idea because they were convinced that the HCH 2 was inherently just as good in respect to mpg as the Prius.
Honda buyers frequently love their car; Prius buyers see their vehicle as a high mpg appliance.

Re: Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
I sorted the mileage logs by % of EPA, and the top two in the gas vehicles group fudged their figures. The leading Subaru Impreza claims 425% of EPA, but the EPA city/highway figures he entered were 11 and 0. The second car, a Toyota Camry, claims 330% of a 9/9 city/highway mileage estimate. You have to wonder about the rest of their figures, when their base figures are so far off the mark.

Re: Suggestion: % of EPA mileage
I saw that and didn't have time to fix it yesterday. I'll adjust them momentarily.
