Which Car for Free????
The Southern has a poll going on the home page.
If you were offered a FREE CAR, which brand would you choose?

Re: Which Car for Free????
I voted Honda, but Toyota is a close 2nd, and I wouldn't refuse a Ford.
Chevrolet? Depends on the model.
Chrysler? Sell the thing and take the money!

Re: Which Car for Free????
I chose Honda as well, but I would prefer BMW was on that list. If I had to choose between a top end Honda or a bottom of the line BMW, I'd take the BMW.

Re: Which Car for Free????
Toyota, obviously. I'd also take a Honda.
Any of them, I'd sell, because I couldn't afford the tax (or insurance) on any of those vehicles. Except perhaps a Prius or Insight. Or maybe an S2000, that would be fun too.

Re: Which Car for Free????
Depends on the car. If it was "any $20,000 car" I would take a Camry or Accord.I need something with an upright driving position-like the Prius- and Toyota seems to be a little better at that than Honda.
If it was anything they make-a Hybrid Suburban-once they make it.Heck, it should get about 24 mpg city with some effort-10 mpg better than what my 98 Suburban gets, and about 40% of what the Prius gets.It should get close to 30 mpg hy at 60mph with high tire pressure.
Of course, with my current situation, I would sell whatever was given to me.

Re: Which Car for Free????
Tough choice for me.
Right now I would have to choose whatever got the best FE (Toyota I think right now). This would replace my daily driver, the Ranger.
Or I could replace my towing truck and loose those payments. In this case I would go with Dodge, or maybe the new F-150 if they offer it with FFV in a size to do my towing.
