What do you want to bet when a member here buys one they pry the right most button out with a screwdriver?

Maybe that button has nothing to do with FE, but in fact makes you president of the OPEC. Now that would be a worthy button.

Re: Prius-III Sneak Peek #9
Well, sometimes some mountains just need climbing. I figure the FE mode is really good gearing for flat-to-an-extent roads while the power is for car-hiking?

Re: Prius-III Sneak Peek #9
Is it me, or do the buttons seem a bit cheap? Like from 1999 instead of 2009.

If I had to guess (based on the curvature), they are mounted on the steering wheel. That type of button requires a different finish.

Re: Prius-III Sneak Peek #9
Sounds like the new Prius is going to be a super car.. Worth waiting for.?.
Maybe that's why the local dealer has a bunch of this year's models in stock..?.
I just checked at http://www.herbchambers.com and found they have 13 brand new Prius models ready to go..
I've never seen that many at one dealer around here. Mostly, it's ones and twos and they are gone the next day.
Read this tonight.. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081207/...us_autos_ports
Sounds a bit depressing.. But, If I can get a new Prius for $18,000 after new years day,
I'll be there with my check book!

Re: Prius-III Sneak Peek #9
Though I haven't seen figures, Prius and HCH sales in Washington State should be nearly shut down until New Years, when the new sales tax exemption for cars exceeding 40 mpg (combined) takes effect.
