Signature character limit

I was going to update my signature, but I'm running into the character limit. I've already used tinyURL. Is there a way to ease the character limit? Or can a mod overrule it? Or am I SOL?

I have the code ready to go if it's possible. If not, I'll figure something else out.

Re: Signature character limit

Hi Michael:

___You should be able to display 3 FE sigs without any trouble using regular links. With tiny url, you should be able to fit four? I increased the character limit early last year and I would prefer to keep it at its present to keep members from piling on. What else are you trying to display?

___Good Luck

___Wayne

Re: Signature character limit

I'll work on it. I think I can cut down the use of indents and tables. I was attempting to display 4 FE sigs, but with links.

Basically it would be like my existing sig:
[sig]

xxx
xxx
Corolla
Corolla-his
Terrapass
xxx
xxx
[/sig]

but with the Sienn'a mileage logs:
[sig]

xxx
xxx
Corolla
Corolla-his
Sienna
Sienna-his
xxx
xxx
[/sig]

That's a lot of information and with the URL's and tables, it's just too much. I can work on it to see if I can cut out the crap enough to get it to fit. Thanks, Wayne.

Re: Signature character limit

If you want to link those images, you start running into trouble.

How did Auston get all this into his? http://www.cleanmpg.com/forums/member.php?u=2340

Michael, could you link only one of the blue banners to the mileage log? They both go to the same place anyway.

Re: Signature character limit

Hi Michael:

___How many more characters do you need as I can bump it up a little. The indent and table code is what is killing you. Can you use the [center] tag vs. indent?

___Good Luck

Re: Signature character limit

I took out the tables and just have spaces. It's not a clean as I would like it, but it's functional. Thanks.

Re: Signature character limit

I cram a lot into my sig because the only mileage log link is the Lmpg on my main logs. The others don't go anywhere, otherwise I'd be up in the thousands of characters.
