Suggestion: Ranking in Mileage Logs?

I wonder if it is easily done, and/or if anyone is interested in seeing their rank within their vehicle class in the mileage logs?
For example, the other day I was able to determine that I was 109th within the gas (non-hybrid) category. I did this by noting the last entry in the 'top 100,' then showing 'all' and counting down from the last of the top 100 to my entry.
I'm suggesting a column that shows this at a glance.
Dunno if it's a good idea or not, though, or how much trouble it would be to implement.
Thanks
-jon

Interesting suggestion, Jon. I'll take a look but I've got to restructure the whole thing anyway -- there are too many columns as it is.

Re: Suggestion: Ranking in Mileage Logs?

Yeah, Sean, that's what I was wondering/worried about.
If it's too much trouble or too much bloat, I wouldn't mess with it.
As with cars, one must draw the line somewhere between useful features and bloat
(look at what always happens with Toyota's light trucks/suvs for example -- remember what a nice ute the Land Cruiser was when it first appeared? Look at that overblown POS now! )

Anyway, just something that occurred to me.
You guys do a great job here as it is. Really, I don't sit around thinking up more work for y'all, though it might look that way...

thanks

Re: Suggestion: Ranking in Mileage Logs?

Just thought I would add a suggestion I have since it is along the same lines. If it's not possible or too involved I completely understand. Anyways, my idea is in the rankings for top fuel efficient drivers it would be kind of cool if you could break it down to make and/or model. I think model might be a little too involved but manufacturer would be nice.

Re: Suggestion: Ranking in Mileage Logs?

You can do that already. Just sort on "year/make/model/transmission."

Must have over looked that. I'm tired and chasing after kids, and just had a naked poopy baby. Yay!!

Re: Suggestion: Ranking in Mileage Logs?

I heard that!
Doing the above-mentioned sort, I see that I am #1 in my vehicle class!
'Course, it's a class of 1 member only -- me...
