I've got a 2009 HCH on the way. If there are any unresolved questions about fixes or non-obvious updates to the model, I'll soon be in a position to help answer those. I had a chance of test driving a Canadian issue 2009 HCH a few days ago and as far as I can tell nothing much has changed from a functional point of view.
I'll have another chance of doing it again soon for some pictures and possibly a review.

black...leather...AND nav! Congrats! you should post some pics. That was the combination I was looking for when I bought my HCHII but sadly none of those options were available for the 2007 HCHII. I'm so jealous
The trip computer is pretty accurate, usually a few mpg below what you are really getting but its close. 50mpg is really good for a brand new HCHII. It'll only go up as you get used to the car and the engine breaks in. Good work!
