Fender Skirts on Toyota Echo

Fabricated and added some coriplast fender skirts to the Echo. Did some carefully controlled testing this afternoon using Scan Guage trip MPG. Looks like a 1 MPH improvement at 50 mph, plus/minus 0.2 mpg maybe. Hard to control testing of these small improvements. Anyone have similar experience?

Yes, I have one. I just taped them into position as a temporary measure. They are full skirts down to the bottom of fender opening. Not hard to imagine. I used a 3/16" steel rod driven through one of the lower coroplast openings to strenghten the coroplast and allow me to shape a gentile curve over the wheel. I'll post the picture, if I can figure out how to get my jpeg file from here to there :-)

I was interested in sharing data. Anyone else tried this mod and have data?
