Insight Under body panels?
Hello, I purchased my insight about 2 weeks ago. when I got it I noticed that it was missing one of the panels under the engine to smooth the air out.
Any one have the passenger side panel they want to sell?
not sure how much this might be killing my mpg but im sure its not helping..
Thanks

Re: Insight Under body panels?
ok After searching through that site, I found this.
COVER, R. FR. FLOOR (LOWER) @ $68.16
Not sure if that's it or not. its #42 under the System\Component : Inner Panel.
Is it worth the $70, if that's what i need?

Re: Insight Under body panels?
What year and transmission is your insight? I can try to confirm this. Sometimes the sheet metal panels can be confused with underbody panels.

Re: Insight Under body panels?
Yeah those inner panels are definitely the interior sheetmetal like the floor pans, etc. I think you should look at the Front fender list. I believe what you're looking for is #12 COVER, R. ENGINE (LOWER) $37.46. I'm not positive on this though since I can see under your car.... :-\
Still $40 bucks for that might not be worth it. If you're really not sure go to a dealer and see if you can get the actual part number from them with a price quote. Another alternative is to get one of those "vote for whomever" signs and cut a panel to fit there and just fix that in its place.
