Scan Gauge Speedometer

I recently bought a Scan Gauge II and installed it in my Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo '03 model. The gauges work good except those relating to speed. It is unable to get any speed information and it also seems to disable to speedometer on my dashboard when the scan gauge is connected. Once I disconnect it from the OBD port the speedometer starts working again.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanx!
