One Two bars above the threshold is a good place to target.

IHTH?

Wow, I would have guessed more than that.
Driving around in parking lots and on slow city streets, we really couldn't tell if the ICE was
running or not.

My wife drove the first leg and liked the acceleration when we got on US-95.
When I took over, I saw it was in ECO mode and turned it off, and EV on.

We did a bunch of slow driving around HomeDepot, with windows down,
it sure sounded like we were in EV mode. I was watching out for other cars,
and didn't even try to watch the displays.
Turned off EV and got back on US-95 and got into a jam situation where
we had to change lanes and speed up quickly. The C did great!
Then, we got back into heavy city traffic (slow) and went back to EV mode.
The SOC showed 1/2 to 3/4 all the time, but I guess the ICE was quietly
coming on when it wanted to..
Overall, we were impressed with the car. And a Red C-2 will be here within two weeks!

Edit:
$20,885 for the Prius C-2
-$5,000 trade
=$15,885
+$992 tax
+425 total of other fees & etc.
=$17,302

I'm thinking about another $99 for the all-weather mats, since we live in a snow+chemical area. Anyone else get those?

Re: Prius C Question

C2 is a good choice. All C3 in my area have mandatory sunroof and are over $23,000.

Re: Prius C Question

Back to the OP question.. We had the display set for this:

And I'm pretty sure that I saw the MPG numbers (in center top) changing was we traveled. (It would drop very low on hills etc).
What exactly does that MPG number represent?
Overall total ODO average MPG, when you are stopped?

I bet you would save fuel on the return trip

Rich, that is your aFCD since the reset. You can also see the aFCD in at least two others including the Comparison screen and the Energy Flow screen. The Consupmption screen shows the same on top.

Media shot.

Re: Prius C Question

Was I seeing things? The "aFCD since the reset" was changing.. Dropping down to 12 on hills etc..
Shouldn't it change very-very slowly? Or maybe I was hallucinating?

Re: Prius C Question

Hi Rich:

I will have to look the next time I am in a c. The iFCD is in the 5-minute screen in the c but maybe you can swap the i for the a and vice versa like the v? In the v, you can display either the i or the a in the MFD but not both at the same time. You can use the 6.1" screen to display the iFCD in it with the aFCD in the MFD. The hatch has the iFCD next to the speedo and a separate aFCD can be displayed in the same in the consumption display next to it.

Re: Prius C Question

We took our old Corolla for dealer inspection today and it passed okay. (5K).
The salesman's computer shows our C2 is now in NY.
It might be here sooner than expected!
