Just get a Scangauge if you don't already have one. Its well worth the expense.

same thing - zip ties, or buy the abs solvent glue stuff from Lowes and glue nuts or bolts on.

I cut mine out of some aluminum flashing I had in the pole barn. I didn't even make a template,I just started cutting to shape with scissors. It isn't perfect and I could probably block the top too, but the flashing was handy and easy to work with. It is held on with zip ties. I did paint it black after I had it the way I wanted.
I drilled holes for the ties but a sharp knife cold poke a hole easy enough.

I can't just drop $100 on a SG like it's nothing... Especially when we bring in only 6x that per month, currently.
Well, I guess I'll think about doing this with one of the materials shown.

I just got a ultra-gauge. It's a good bit less then the scan gauge and works as good if not better then the scan gauge...
