Just a quick update. I picked up a scangauge a few weeks ago.
I took a trip with the family and completely filled the car up with 3 kids and wife. Driving with load and running around 65 mph and DWL I was averaging 48 mpg on a tank. On the way back I mostly used the cruise control and running 65 -75 mpg and averaged about 44 mpg.
I have not been able to SAHM in this car. I cannot get the IGN and LOAD values on the Scangauge as described for the HCHII.
I found that LOD work well to drive with load. This wee I discoverd the TPS/Throttle Position readout. What I have been looking at this week is TPS Throttle Position. I have been setting the throttle so the TPS reading stays the same and let the car DWL. I just did a 40 mile road trip with the family and averaged 50 mpg.
Still getting better.
