I don't have mechanical skills so I'm hoping the assembled one would be available.
How much do these cost?

I forgot to add that my car is an automatic. Will a vacuum gauge work with an automatic?

Yes, it will work exactly the same as with a manual, but you won't have as much (or at least not the same kind) of ability to use the information it provides to choose gear ratios. You can think of it as a simple low-tech way of showing load on the engine, a bit indirectly.

Re: Hello, am new here.
I got a preassembled MPGuino over 2 years ago, I don't remember the price. it was not more than $65.
Vacuum gauge will work with Automatic transmission. Automatic is just harder to control things like when to shift /Engine RPM. that makes it a bit harder to use the data the gauge shows. I still think this would be a good place to start. ask around at shops, I would think you can get one installed for under $100 including parts.
If you’re going to have someone install one of the other gauges, I would guess you’re going to spend more than $150 (~50 parts?, ~100 install?) I would hold off on those.
Gauges help but are not required, I recommend starting like this (I did):
*Air up the tires to side wall max or whatever you feel comfortable with.
*Stay as light on the peddle as you can when holding speed.
*Look ahead to avoid the need to use the breaks.
**Track your mileage for a few tanks.
After that when you feel your skills have leveled off look into how to Accelerate (Pulse). Just not at first. It Easy to mess up and would make the learning curve longer.
Have fun!

I started making MPGuino's in April, just did another PCB run. They're here if you're interested.
Edit: Contact Xcel (Wayne is the board owner about linking your site) If he clears it you're good to go.
