like to apologize

Upon going thru the various forums and topics it became clear to me that I might have stumbled into the wrong forum platform since most of the members are driving the cars that do sip fuel as compared to the house that I'm pushing down the hi-way.
Sorry for the error in my judgement and please remove my info as I can see a conflict brewing.

Thanks,
Dan Remery (helgi).

Welcome to CleanMPG!

Maybe you have a gas-guzzler, but don't let that run you off

The main thing is an honest desire to improve fuel economy.

Re: like to apologize

Yes, please stay if you truly want to get the best MPG from your vehicle. There are certainly many people here who get incredible mpg, but there are also many of us who are doing the best we can with what we have. You could do that too!

Re: like to apologize

Welcome to CleanMPG.
You are in the right place if you are looking to reduce your fuel usage.
You are not in the right place if you are looking for tips to hot rod your ride and double the horsepower so you can cut two seconds off your quarter mile.
Several of the members here are over the road truck drivers, and they employ the techniques you will learn here to improve fuel economy in the big rigs.
Because of the size and fuel consumption of the Cruisemaster, even incremental gains will result in measurable reductions on cost and carbon emissions.
Most of the techniques in the Beating the EPA article (top right side of the home page) apply to all vehicles. So read that article a few times and practice a little next time you head out in the Cruisemaster. But remember that the best hypermiling of all is never turning the key in the first place, so plan trip routes for the flattest terrain (for a given mountain range) and the most constant speed possible.
Don't hesistate to post and ask questions. I'm sure you will find a wealth of information here and plenty of encouragement.
