Arrow Using the FEH as a generator...

Well, our power went out Friday night in the storm, and just came back on a few hours ago. I resorted to using the FEH as a generator. I ran an extension cord inside and was able to power a lamp, fan, and a cell phone charger.

Re: Using the FEH as a generator...

Glad to hear that you have your power back now. It must have been a terrible storm based on the accounts from TV.

It is great having a backup generator. It would be interesting to hear if the FEH acts any differently after this experience.

No problems so far. My average on that tank was down to 22 MPG. Not bad for having it idle in the driveway for like 13 or 14 hours. The dashboard AC outlet is nice. We did get hit hard though. A tree fell on my pickup truck. Insurance adjuster came today, turns out its $1,400 worth of damage.
