Re: Hi everyone :)
Starting my journey here,..my name is CleanairBob.
Hello to all.
I just purchased a "03 Honda Insight, 5-speed trans., about 3 weeks ago, and am looking for ways to improve the efficiency/MPG of this wondrous little car. I have some basic mechanical knowledge, (I used to buy and rebuild the old vintage early 70's Honda 600's), but I'm not extremely adept at the new computer tech. that makes these cars run in today's world. I guess the first question(s) would be where would I find the best forums to research and also, who among you/us is the most knowledgable when it comes to first generation Insights. I'm still learning the car, although I did manage to achieve 76.8 MPG on a 80 mile trip this weekend, mosly on interstate 5. Ticked off a few drivers by only going 48-50 mph on some inclines, though. lol
