1500 mile vacation black pearl or grasshopper
im going to gatlinburg tn next week and want yall opinion, should i take black pearlwhich needs driving and breaking in or should i take grasshopper and see what kind of mpgs i can ring out of her fully loaded with me and four passengers i know the grasshopper is good for a 3-10 mpg increase over the black pearl, but it would be a good chance to break the pearl in! Personally, I'd break in the new vehicle.

This is the perfect opportunity to break in the new car, that's what I'd do.

Definitely break it in. It would be cool to see if you mileage improves over the course of the trip.

I've kept it zipped for two threads on the subject of blackpearl vs grasshopper, but can't stand it: what are these cars? Or even, are they cars??

Re: 1500 mile vacation black pearl or grasshopper
Take the black pearl , Troy. Please keep us updated with as much as relevant trip info as possible, ; including temperature , A/C use , wind , traffic, speeds, techniques, etc.
It doesn't matter if you get "Wayne" numbers , just get the best "Troy" numbers possible.
