Hey everybody, I just wanted to say hello and re-introduce myself. I haven't posted in a while and am glad to be back. I drive an '01 Pathfinder and an '06 diesel heavy duty Chevy Silverado. Not the most fuel efficient vehicle, but we pull a 40 ft fifth wheel trailer behind it on the weekends. I am curious as to what convenient options are out there to improve mileage and fuel efficiency. I look forward to reading everyones' posts.

Do you have an instanteous FE display on your dash? If so, You can DWL, that is to hold a steady fuel flow by maintaining contast pressure on the throttle. This should result in a roller coaster type motion where you lose speed going up the hills and then regain it on the downhills due to potential energy. This technique should help greatly, especially for gas guzzlers such as Silverados.

Welcome back. I think the best option to purchase would be a scanguage. Changing your driving habits will get you your best results. If you haven't already, read Wanyne's article on hypermiling. Here is the link.
