Great Prank
One of the old timers (retired) who comes in to help us out now and again told me the following story: He knew an engineer who worked down at Pratt & Whitney in CT back during the oil embargoes, etc when gas prices were sky high. One of his co-workers was a real blow-hard and came in bragging about how fuel efficient his new car was to who ever would listen and many others who would not. They got so fed up with it they decided to add a little bit of extra gas to his tank every day at lunch without his knowledge. Pretty soon he was bragging all over the place how his car was getting 250 MPG and everyone thought he was going crazy. After they did it for a while they stopped and he thought there was something seriously wrong with his car because he was only getting 30 MPG or whatever. Ha ha, he never caught on to the prank . . .
