The 2014 Kia Forte Like the all-new Rio, the next Forte is longer, lower and wider. Pricing, drivetrain and fuel economy capabilities are still unknown.
Kias upcoming Forte or Cerato replacement will be called the K3 (Korean market designation). The compact sedan was Kia's best-selling automobile in 2011 with more than 445,000 vehicles sold.
In a vague release yesterday, Kia revealed the look of its next generation Forte compact sedan.
In creating the next generation Forte, Kias design teams focused on giving the next generation Forte an all-new futuristic style, with a more spacious cabin. From the looks, it is a far cry for the somewhat homely Forte Kia has been selling the past few years. Expect Forte sales to double when it finally arrives in early 2013.
The all-new Forte sedan will be followed shortly after by a five-door hatch and two-door coupe variants ala Elantra.
