First Oil Change

After 5 months I've got just over 3000 miles on my HSH. I'm about to take a road trip from Oregon to Phoenix and will be getting my first oil change before I leave.

I'm looking for recommendations as to the type, brand, viscosity, fill level, etc..
The dealer will be doing this, will I even have any of these options?

TIA

Re: First Oil Change

The dealer will fill with the correct oil and weight recommended for your vehicle.
Today pretty much all new cars come filled with synthetic oil and manufactures recommend the use of synthetic's through out the life of the car.

Just make sure they don't over fill it or it can affect your gas mileage.

When there is a warranty involved I always go to the dealer for my services. Once the warranty is up you can do as you wish with what ever brand oil you want to use.

If they offer Mobil One at the dealer for a small up charge I'd go for it otherwise use the oil the Hyundai dealer offers.

With my Prius, I use Toyota's brand synthetic oil, since it has tested out to being one of the best oil's you can buy. My Volvo has Mobil One in it.
