Re: My 2011 Scion xB
Well, I have just finished my second tank and I got 21.1 MPG. It makes me sick. I have the tires at 42PSI. I am coasting to every light and stop sign. I am using the cruse control whenever possible. The dash says I am getting 36MPG or more most of the time, but when I figure the actual mileage its dismal.
I know how to figure gas mileage, I did it all the time with the 06 xb and had no problems. I will do that thing of filling the tank until I can see the gas, and drive 50 or 60 miles north on I95 & then do it again to get a true fix, and take pictures of the receipt, to post. Sounds like you might think there is a problem with the odometer? I though of that also but couldn't think of a way to check it without taking it to the dealer. I guess I could have used Map Quest.
Thanks for the help.

This begs the question: is someone siphoning off your gas every night? I wish I was closer, I'd take a drive with you to check it out.

Re: My 2011 Scion xB
What kind of tires? Brakes sticking?
The xB has the gas tank door release inside car. If someone is stealing gas should be some sign of forced opening of the door, maybe?
My dash reported lower mpg than actual on the 'avg' option for these 2 tanks.

Just ran 110 mile round trip this morning. Forget to write down mileage off trip odometer (to verify actual miles) but,
FWIW - Mid 40s air temp, flat-ish ground, cruise at 55 mph, dash was showing 40ish mpgs.
Checked tire psi after a couple hours parked in driveway. They varied from 42-43.5.

Re: My 2011 Scion xB
Changed the oil today, put in Mobil 1 - 0w20.
Was going to do the trans with synthetic too, but kinda tight on time and didnt see the drain and fill right off. Anyone know where they are?
May have to break down and buy AllData for 5 years. cant seem to find a repair manual either.
Did buy a small battery charger for it too. Will be putting in the block heater and charger soon.

Re: My 2011 Scion xB
Took it out for a test drive today. Can't really feel it back there. Boat is 12'2", 135 pounds plus gear and trailer. Might eat up a mpg or 2 but shouldn't be too bad.
