2012 hyundai accent (THE BLACK PERL)

gave my wife my grasshopper green accent ,traded in my 2003 dodge sxt caravan and bought me new 2012 accent hhatchback and chris might help me post some pics, i nicknamed it the black pearl its called ultrablack cant wait to get it on the highway for some mpg runs should have pics soon

Here are the photos of "Grasshopper and The Black Pearl", which sounds sort of like a Harry Potter book title, or perhaps the title of one of those Johnny Depp pirate movies.

Are they both the same model year?

Same model year. The 2011 Accent was the previous generation, and the 2012 (current) design arrived in late Spring of last year. While the 2013 Accent was announced, it won't be on the lots for a while yet. So the two 2012 Accents are "early build" and "late build", but the same model year.
Bonus - Only having to have one spare set of wiper blades, one oil filter, and other maintenance and repair items because they will fit either car.

That first image is striking, with the green Accent on the green side of the picture and black one on the darker side of the forest. Good job on the composition.

Congrats, Joesgot4 ! I have investigated this car thoroughly , or as much as I can without a test drive. Can you tell me , how is the view through the rear window ? Most modern hatches are horrible , and the Accent's window looks pretty high and narrow. Not as bad as the Veloster. Also , how is the feel of the shifter and clutch ?

both cars are auto transmission, this car is a fuel sipper, as far as the view out the back or lack there of doesnt stick out ,but i will make apoint to check, to be small it has suprisingly ample room,nice looks,lots of engine pep,handles nice ,and very good price, my only complaint it can be loud on rough surface roads and it doesnt come stock with spare tire.

Lots of modern cars do not have a spare tire standard. That's not a real problem for me, UNLESS I am going on a long trip. Will the Accent accept a full-size (not temporary) tire and wheel in it's spare compartment ?

the seats in back are up high and the view is somewhat obstructed, i think a regular tire will fit in the space, i think my spare is a little taller than my main tire! You will love this car but dont put seat cover on passenger side it will cause all kinds of problems with air bag! My wife drives grasshopper and i drive the BLACK PEARL, IM GOING to install some michellin defender tires on grasshopper in about 6 months, the factory tires sux, let me know if there is anything you want me to show you or test about either car!
