There were a few other possible spots but the sun was setting fast and the other landmarks were too far away to get 'em all in. The orange sunset did make the photo taken at the pier that much more dramatic. I think that one is my favorite of all the photos taken.

Hey- is the dog making the trip??
A genuine USA roadtrip requires at least one pet-usually a dog, but a cat will do in a pinch.
Granted that is a pretty nice car-leather interior-and I guess Hyundai might have some say in that.

Re: An All-American Road Trip with the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
A major squall came through here around 8:45pm, with lots of wind for half an hour before. The stadium is about a half hour to the west, so there may have been a rain-based "intermission" in the game? Hopefully Wayne selected wash-n-wear attire for tonight's game!

Wayne we know that you can get 60+ mpg out of the Sonata and Optima Hybrid so could you do us hybrid owners a favor and document mpg on your second tank going the speed limit but still using your hypermiling techniques. We've got the HSH hyper silver premium and just love it. Have a safe journey.

Hi All:
A unique to the American Game phenomena occurred last night and the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was there.

Re: An All-American Road Trip with the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
Hi All:
What a way to start the “Long Drive” Road Trip!
Mets vs. Card – June 1, 2012

An early inning pitch by the Mets Johan Santana…

Mid-innings…

Some bases loaded offense.

Late inning pitch.

Top of the ninth with 2 out. Notice the Cards R - H – E on the board? Yeah, that is 0 0 0
Johan Santana at Citi Field Santana last night tossing the Mets first no-hitter in the franchises' history!
Something the Mets Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Dwight Gooden, Pedro Martinez, Tom Glavine or any other Mets pitcher has done in the 50 years of Mets baseball.
The two-time Cy Young Award winner pitched the first no-hitter in team history, aided by an umpire's mistake and an outstanding catch during an 8-0 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.
That outstanding outfield play arrived when the Mets Left Fielder Mike Baxter, made a diving catch of a Yadier Molina fly ball in the seventh crashing into the outfield wall; Baxter left the game with an injury.

An honest to goodness No-Hitter!

Hi All:
2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid on an All-American Road Trip

The HSH’s range can most certainly outlast mine

Highest point on I-80 East of the Mississippi.

What good is an All-American Road Trip without stopping at America’s Restaurant?
