The latest Chrome has improved security. Also for Windows/Chrome users - search for Services, locate the two Google tasks and disable them if you want more privacy.
Firefox version 13.0 beta for me. Best one out there as far as I'm concerned. It's fast and I use Adblock Plus and I always see a blank white screen on the right side when I'm on Facebook. On the rare occasion I surf the web on my phone, I use Skyfire.
