Nissan LEAFs in sombody's garage...
Hi All:
While I do not have all the details yet, we will try and get a story up about a LEAF that arrived at somebody we all knows home this afternoon. Speaking on the phone for a few minutes I could tell this person was absolutely positively excited about the new baby!

Re: Nissan LEAFs in sombody's garage...
The first 100 mile EV Rally in Phoenix, May 6th, was won by LEAFfan with 8.3 mile/kWh using 11kWh out of his battery.. he kept on going and racked in 151 miles before quitting. His battery only has 90% capacity (its damaged) and he expects 170 miles with a repaired battery. You guys have been challenged.

Re: Nissan LEAFs in sombody's garage...
Hi Herm:
I suspected the LEAF was a 175 to 200 mile range car but were never afforded the opportunity to find out. Some of us here were scheduled to do an event drive looping LA but Nissan pulled the plug at the last minute
In any case, nice job by the LEAF driver whoever he was.

Hmmm,
I wonder if we should be looking for a gently use Insight on Craigslist in the near future?
