Like I need another forum...

But heck, this one looks pretty darn good!

I'm Evan Fusco, many of you may be familiar with me from the PriusChat, PriusOnline, Yahoo, etc. forums. Some of you may have come here to get away from me!

I've owned a '04 Prius since Oct. '03 and now have 42k miles and a lifetime average of about 53mpg. We recently purchased a 4WDi Limited Highlander Hybrid as well. My wife is the primary driver of the HiHy and she's not as fanatical about mileage and such as I am.

I don't consider myself a 'greenie', but do believe in reducing fossil fuel use, taking advantage of technology, and trying to make the world a better place.

I'm pretty busy on a number of other forums, but I'll try to come around here to hang out once in a while to see what's what.

I live in Nixa, MO in southwest Missouri (near Springfield), am married with 3 kids (6y/o twin boys and a 21mo daughter).

Re: Like I need another forum...

One of my themes is being green and saving energy should not be made sooooo political. The way I'm occasionally treated on the freeway, a lot of people automatically think: "hybrid - he's GreenPeace, Veggie, Girlie Mann, etc". None of the above apply.

Regardless of your politics, less imported energy benefits the economy and avoids less ozone action days in our larger cities, just to mentions a few benefits....

Hi Efusco:

___Now that you belong to CleanMPG, you won’t need the less significant ones anyway! I know you are a PriusChat aficionado and mod so I guess we can allow that one to stay

___All kidding aside, I really like your Prius II pic in the gallery. The Shark Fin antennae really adds to her profile. I would like to see your interior upgrades as soon as you can snap some pics. I have not ruled one out for the wife just yet in fact …

___Good Luck

Wayne,
There are more pics of my Prius Here: , but you won't find much on the interior different. I have a leather hood for the MFD, a leather arm-rest cover, and a blue/black wheel-skins steering wheel cover. I also have a horizontal cargo net as well as the OEM vertical one. And I got the JDM waterproof cargo mat.

My main electronic mods are:
1)OEM EV Button
2)CAN-View
3)I have a circuit that lets me disable the speed sensor for the Bluetooth phone by pushing the button on the steering wheel.
4)I have a switch that disables the speed sensor for the NAV (now not used due to the software Easter-Egg being found)
5)Integrated XM Radio

Maybe more, but I've forgotten little things. Even forgot to list the body side mouldings for one of the exterior mods. And my "ToGoB4" license plate, and chrome Arkansas Razorback emblem!

Overall I love my Prius mods, their subtle but add to the style, functionality, whatever without being 'in your face'.
