Wanted an xGauge code programmed (kmh -> MPH)

Will be driving Camry Hybrid into the US and would like to keep my SCII in metric, but also have a gauge to provide me with MPH.

the conversion is km/h / 1.6093 = mph or km/h * 0.6214 = mph

Thanks

Re: Wanted an xGauge code programmed (kmh -> MPH)

This is for a Gen. II Prius I believe, but one of these may still work? What year is your TCH?

GaugeTXDRXFRXDMTHNAMNotes
miles per hour00BC010042B40000380C252603DA0000mphxx.xx mph
miles per hour00BC010042B40000381008D80E930000mphxx.xx mph

Check out this thread with a bunch of Xgauges for fun.

And welcome to the site! Hopefully you'll stick around and learn how to squeeze your TCH's economy into submission Check out our CleanMPG Primer to get you started! Enjoy your trip to the States!

It's a '09. Bought it in spring of '08 and have about 55K (km) so far.

Will try those codes and let you know.

Thanks

Simple, just use the following code:

TXD:07DF010D
RXF: 0441450D0000
RXD: 3008
MTH: 0C2300320000
NAM: mph

Note that you can't have the built-in speed displayed on another xgauge or this will be blank

Sorry to say but I get a steady 0.00 MPH on the display. I checked my coding and I did enter it correctly. Maybe it is because this is a Camry not a Prius?

Crap, I had the RXD wrong. Every time I try to spit out the codes from memory I seem to make at least one mistake ..anyway, change the RXD to:

RXD: 2808

and it should work.

That did it!

Many thanks. Somewhat related question, is there a compilation of xGauges for the TCH anywhere?

If there is anyone in the Phoenix area with a TCH, perhaps either James at LinearLogic or myself could hook up to it and figure them out.
