Ford 2009 in Review
One heck of a collage...
Wayne Gerdes - CleanMPG - Feb. 1, 2010
From China, Europe, North and South America, it was a pretty good year compared to the rest of the industry.
Since I am beat and need rest, I will not add much more other than to say the European vehicles look really Hot

Re: Ford 2009 in Review
My first post here, but I just had to agree with liking the European Fords and do wonder why it took them so long to try importing the styling and maybe the car into the US market. I know that there are different safety and emissions standards but it sounds like Ford is finally going to offer a car that can be sold in both markets.
I was stationed in Germany in the mid to late 60's and thought the Fords and GM Opels were really nice looking, comfortable to ride in, and economical too. Then I got back to the states in '69 and the only affordable economical car was the VW Bug so I went with a hot rod Ford Fairlane GT. If a European Opel or Ford would have been available I probably would have considered it.

Welcome, Ken! And agreed, the euro vehicles are totally sweet, and wish more of them were introduced here.
