Toyota is expected to lose market share in January and report a monthly sales decline even though industry sales are expected to increase by more than 7%, several industry experts said.
Toyota's sales are expected to drop 7% to 14% in January compared with the same month last year largely because the automaker suspended sales of eight of its models nationwide during the last week of the month.
