Weekend Trip Results
.............I drove my 2005 Insight and displayed in a large car show over the weekend. There were thousands of people there, and due to high fuel prices, my car got LOTS of attention: photos, crowds of people standing around asking me questions, and I received a trophy!
The drive was a round trip of 682 miles, each way crossing the Cascade Mtns on I-90. Temps were in the 30's, 40's and some 50's. I dealt with 1 rain storm and slight headwinds. My tires are @ 52 lbs and I used FAS whenever possible. I ended up with a trip average of 90.7 mpg, which isn't too bad, considering warmer weather is coming!.........
