Hch I Fas?

Now that I have the option (manual transmission), I've noticed a few spots on my commute where it might make sense to shut off the engine while in motion so I have a few questions. So far, the only place I've done this is about one thousand feet from my drive way when no one is behind me.
1. Does it make sense to FAS while in motion in this car or is lean burn so lean that it really doesn't matter? More specifically, in a situation where I'm approaching a possible stop, such as a red light, but where it could turn green and I'll have to re-start.
2. If it does make sense, then what is the best way to come out of the FAS if I'm still in motion: use the key since there isn't a starter to worry about? bump start (or is that a bad idea because of the hybrid system, i.e. the motor attached to the transmission)?
3. Do I need to worry about the 12V battery if I do FAS while in motion?
Sorry if this has been covered to death already, I never payed attention to this type of information before since I had a non-flat towable automatic.
