Re: A Great Pump for Tire Pressure
I have the Super Flow MV-50 portable compressor. It goes under many brand names but the important part is the MV-50. I use it to inflate my Jeep Cherokee tires after surf fishing and off road beach camping. It will inflate a 255/70/R15 from 15 psi to 40 psi in less than a minute. It connects directly to the battery and the vehicle needs to be running, it uses quite a bit of power. Yeah, it might not be as silent as the one mentioned but it takes longer to hook it up than to actually inflate the tire.
Mine is several years old, bought it at $30 or so and I see they are now $70. No problems with it but it looks like it is cheaply made and I am pretty careful with it. I dont mean the unit itself but parts like the air filter are soft plastic and seem like they would break easily.
