The Obama pet poll is here > Which Dog Should the Obama Family Get?

Since they have not selected one at this time (and his daughters will probably be the ones spending the time), I don't think this will factor much in the Obama Administration.

In other words, this poll is really about favorite Presidential Pets before Obama.

If they selected on in a few days, I'll add it to this poll.

Re: Favorite White House Pet

They should get a greyhound, but the best pet was either the cat(carter) or LBJs beagles.

Greyhound because:
1) Many recycled ones available-they said it would be a "shelter mutt"
2)Handsome mutts-elegant , photogenic.They "look like" Obama(skinny, elegant)-lotta' folks look like their mutts.
3)Very low odor-close to zero.
4)Extremely unlikely to bite a human.
5)We have/had two greyhounds- Phoebe and Isis
6)Already housebroken on delivery.
7) Great travelers.
8)Don't shed much-one of the daughters is allergic- might help. I wouldn't make any hypoallergenic claims like some breed owners make.

Thanks,
Charlie
PS I did mention we have a greyhound, right? Cats disagree of course.

Dr Evil,
I did mention photogenic, didn't I? Not that Mr Bigglesworth isn't a striking cat, but.......

Just kidding,
Charlie
