Oil & tire Q&A for HCH-II

It was recently suggested that I check my car's oil and raise the tire pressure some more for maximum FE. So I asked Xcel for more detail and he asked that I share his information here as well:

Q: Should I raise my tire pressure all at once, or a little at a time (currently at 38psi)?
A: Bring them up maybe 2 - 4 #'s a week so you do not feel the harshness jump. Within 6 weeks, you should be up near 50 #'s and receiving the max benefit from that setup tweak. You can stop at 44 if you want as that is within MAX sidewall and my absolute minimum.

Q: Regarding checking my oil—I remember reading Honda puts in their own special break-in oil so what would I do if it was low—add different oil to it?
A: Honda Break-in oil has some Moly in it besides not being a FE saving fill. Drive at least 5 - 7.5K with it and then get it out of there. Mobil 0W-20 would be the oil of choice imho.
