Art Spinella interview

http://www.katu.com/home/video/75493...?video=pop&t=a

You know Art. He's responsible for CNW's report on how a Hummer is more environmentally friendly than a Prius.

If anything, it's good for a laugh.

Re: Art Spinella interview

I'll have to view this - it's a "must see" along with interviews with Saddam Huessein and Ted Bundy.

Re: Art Spinella interview

My favorite retort when people bring this up:

Moron: "Did you know that a Hummer has less environmental impact than your Prius?"

Dan: "Well almost.... What you meant to say is that 'Owning a Hummer is has the same impact as owning 3 Prius'. That 3:1 analysis is probably close to correct, but I'd have to see how the data was derived to be sure"

Moron: "What?!?"

100k vs 300k... Art says it himself.

"And now for something completely different"

Ohh STOP the PRESS CNW has just hit SNOPES. Spinning a new thread as we speak.

Re: Art Spinella interview

Finally got to see the interview and it was fair. Spinella makes his case, then towards the end, it's pointed out Sudbury's Nickel mine has been cleaned up considerably, GreenPeace Canada supports hybrid technology, and quotes The University of Chicago: "...the study is too silly to merit a response".

Dan, I'm glad you had a chance to post at snopes.

CNW Marketing is in Brandon, Oregon is along beautiful Hwy 101 - was there in 2005. It's very near Devil's Churn.
