What X-Gauge best for Highway MPG's

Need some input: What is the best X-Gauge to watch and hold to obtain best highway mileage..The three I have read about TPS, IGN, and GPS also might throw RPM's in the mix..I Drive 87 miles each way to work with about 80% highway..I got the P&G down and get some pretty Impressive Numbers until I get to Interstate then my MPG starts to drop.. I usually set the C.C. at 64mph most of the way. I do turn it off on some big downhill segments and glide.. I would love your guys take on this..I almost forget I drive a 2008 Prius..

Re: What X-Gauge best for Highway MPG's

Hi Sandman:

___64 mph is beyond where the best your Prius has to offer can be found. On the backsides of hills and overpasses, Warp stealth. Accel’s, keep below 2,300 R’s (tach). 45 – 53, (SoC above 58.5%, IGN and TPS or gps). Below 40 mph, you can throw the book at it once you have surpassed S4. Battery Current would be useful below 40 as well. Best thing is to bring coolant temp up to 161 degrees F (coolant temp), perform an idle check at an appropriate spot in your commute and you are golden.

___Good Luck

___Wayne
